Plane Crazy (May 15, 1928) is the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon ever produced, created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. Initially released as a silent film, it was later reissued with sound in 1929 after the success of Steamboat Willie. In this short, Mickey builds his own airplane in an attempt to become a pilot like Charles Lindbergh, leading to plenty of slapstick chaos with Minnie Mouse.

This historic cartoon is preserved for fans of classic animation and is part of the public domain.
